Today, Technological advancements in AI and Robotics are leading global development with experts projecting Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics are projected to have a profound impact on the global economy, with estimates suggesting they could add up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030. This massive infusion of economic value represents a 14% to 26% boost to global GDP, driven by productivity gains, labor automation, and consumer demand for better products.. The African continent is largely underdeveloped and suffering with various ameliorations that urgently need Technology solutions. Africa today, desperately needs Technology to improve several areas of the African economy such as Health, Agriculture, Communication among many others. Despite the many Innovative benefits that come with Technology, Africa might not be ripe enough to accept all kinds of Technology. This comes as Africa was created to function in an entirely different mode societal harmonization characterized by a highly diversified race that is blessed with a highly corrupt, greedy, envious, and evil populace that favor backwardness over progressive community development.

Africa, is the second largest continent (after Asia), covering about one-fifth of the total land surface of Earth. The continent is bounded on the west by the Atlantic Ocean, on the north by the Mediterranean Sea, on the east by the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, and on the south by the mingling waters of the Atlantic and Indian oceans.
Africa’s total land area is approximately 11,724,000 square miles (30,365,000 square km), and the continent measures about 5,000 miles (8,000 km) from north to south and about 4,600 miles (7,400 km) from east to west.Geographical axis. With a population of over 1.57 billion people, Africa serves as home the entire Black nation. The African continent from creation is richly blessed with an abundance of Mineral resources such as Diamond, Gold, Lithium, Crude Oil, Tin, Limestone, and Coal among many others. This abundance in Mineral blessings in Africa, is backed by the absence of Natural Disaster occurrences such as Tsunami’s, Earthquakes, Typhoons and other devastating natural disasters which usually occurs in other continents leaving Thousands of people dead and resulting in the destruction of Millions of properties.
For a Continent that is highly blessed in this manner, it is safe to say that “Africa has no right to be Poor”. However, the present state of the African economy paints a drastic pathetic picture. One that illustrates a people suffering with all forms of poverty, health care crisis, hunger, food insecurity, underdevelopment, terrorism and insecurity. This begs a lot a questions. What could be wrong with the African continent? What are factors behind rising poverty levels in Africa? Can Technology be the Key to solving all of Africa’s problems? Lets find out!
Key Pillars Shouldering Underdevelopment and Poverty in Africa
Africa right from creation, was plagued with creational diseases that limits its development and drives poverty, food insecurity and insecurity to peak levels. This disease is embedded inside the Black skin so deep that it makes development appear to be an illusion which may never arrive for Africa unless strategic changes in mindset and mentality is widely effected in Africa. What makes this highly communicable development disease to spread rapidly, is the highly diversified nature of the African continent which boasts of over 3,000 distinct ethnic groups (tribes) and roughly 2,000 different languages. This immense diversity makes it the continent with the highest cultural and linguistic variety, featuring hundreds of smaller communities and dozens of major ethnic groups across 54 countries.
This huge level of diversity, carries with it strings of economic underdevelopment by fostering diversity, greed, corruption, envy, hatred, and ultimately eliminating a united voice that promotes development in one unison. This means that less diversified economies will develop in a fast geometric order while highly diversified economies like Africa will develop in a slow arithmetic fashion.
A brief highlight of the Forces of Underdevelopment and Slow Growth in Africa
-Corruption & Greed that breeds Distrust
-Cultural, Religious and Ethnic diversity that breeds Envy & Hatred
-Foreign Actors that promotes underdevelopment in Africa
*Corruption & Greed that breeds Distrust: Corruption and greed is driving underdevelopment, poverty, food crisis and insecurity in huge astronomical numbers In Africa today. This comes as African leaders in government offices have displayed a wealth of highly corrupt and greedy prowess over the years. According to the African Union, Corruption alone costs the African continent over $140 billion every year, according to African Union estimates. Today in Africa, Politicians with records of accomplishment in corruption are being rewarded with ceremonial titles, higher offices and new roles by sitting governments so long as these corrupt leaders agree to part ways with opposition parties and join hands with the sitting government. These type of activities only breeds renewed corruption and opens more avenues for underdevelopment and poverty to successfully thrive in Africa.
This corruption, greed and distrust in Africa doesn’t stop at Africa Leaders alone, it exists and lives amongst Africans at high, middle and low sectors of the African economy. How can Technology advancements in AI and Robotics can put an end to corruption and greed occasioned by the Black man due to an excessive hunger for money, power and fame? The answer to this question comes with a big disappointment. An example can be seen the African drive for foreign used imported Cars over locally manufactured Cars. This act has turned Africa into a dumping ground by developed countries. These cars are manufactured abroad with their active use service lives expeditiously enjoyed abroad only for their scraps to be shipped into Africa for sale at very high prices to African citizens who purchase these vehicles. After a few while of usage, African owners begin to encounter all sorts of problems with these Vehicles thereby leading to further additional expenses in vehicle repairs and maintenance costs.
*Cultural, Religious and Ethnic diversity that breeds Envy & Hatred: Today, Africa’s cultural, religious and ethnical diversity is breeding underdevelopment and poverty in large volumes. This can be likened to the Biblical story of the Tower of Babel that was destroyed not by fire but cultural and ethnical Language diversity. This diversity in Languages brought the construction of this great towering sky high Tower to an abrupt stop as the builders and workers got struck with different languages thereby, causing confusion and misunderstanding among them and resulting In an abrupt stop of work.
Today, Africa alone comprises of over 3000, different cultural, religious and ethnic tribes and languages. This wide scale diversity fosters Envy & Hatred amongst Africans. In Nigeria for example, there is huge disdain for progression and progressing individuals. Citizens that show huge potentials to one day become successful and prominent individuals are Killed by fellow family members using African Voodoo and Diabolic means.
An example is the story of my uncle Mr Iorfa Uya now deceased. Mr Iorfa Uya is, or rather was a Mechanical Engineer. He graduated from the University as far back as 2007. After searching for a high paying job endlessly to no avail, he settled for a security service job with the Nation Newspaper located in Abuja. One fateful Sunday while at his security post station, one of the printers used in printing Newspaper got spoilt and the companies staff began to panic hence it was a weekend and the companies engineers where not around to fix the faulty machine. Mr Iorfa got wind of the crisis with the printing machine from his security post and offered to fix the machine. Using his experience and expertise with Machines, Mr Iorfa quickly fixed the printing machine to the amazement of the staffs, and workers. The following day, upon gaining wind of what took place the previous day, the Managing Director of the Nation Newspaper called Mr Iorfa and promoted him from a security officer to a full fledged Engineer of the Nation Newspaper. Mr Iorfa started to excel. In less than 2 years, he built a house, bought a car and married a wife. One fateful day, Mr Iorfa travelled to the village located in Mbaduku Vandeikya Local Govt Area of Benue state. Upon arrival, he took a tour of the family house and noticed the structure his Late father stated to develop before he passed on was stuck at the foundation level. Mr Iorfa decided to complete this structure in honor of his late father. Little did he know this would mark the end of his life. One fateful day while resting In his bedroom, Mr Iorfa got bitten mysteriously by an insect I his living room in the Village. As days progressed, his legs and stomach started to swell up as if he was pregnant. All kinds of conventional treatment and medication failed. After a few weeks, Mr Iorfa died and was buried.
This goes to tell you the level of envy, hatred and jealousy that exists in the African continent. Millions of African sons and daughters who showed good potentials to become successful in life have been killed using African Voodoo and other Diabolic means. How then can the African Continent not remain underdeveloped and in left to rot with various range of poverty?
*Foreign Actors that promotes underdevelopment in Africa: In Africa today, foreign actors from developed economies are championing underdevelopment in Africa. These foreign actors are plying the African corrupt and greedy disease to enrich themselves and further promote underdevelopment and insecurity in the African continent. Recently, a USAID plane was pictured supplying equipment’s and items to terrorists in Bornu State the headquarters of Boko haram, terrorism and insurgency in Nigeria. In times past, foreign actors have been indicted in the Legal case against the former Minister for Petroleum Mrs Allison Diezani Madueke where foreign actors were said to have offered cash bribes, and luxurious properties in London to the Minister for Petroleum in exchange for Oil Contracts.
Together, these foreign actors are championing underdevelopment across Africa by offering bribes and colluding with African public office holders and official to grant illicit licenses for Mineral explorations, Mining contracts. In Nigeria today, part of the reasons for high insurgency, terrorism and insecurity is illegal mining activities carried out mainly by Chinese Nationals. These Chinese Nationals engage in various kinds of illegal mining activities across the country. In order to ensure their security, these foreign actors are coerced to pay security fees to bandits and terrorists operating within the region for protection. These acts are swiftly helping to fuel insurgency, terrorism and insecurity in Nigeria.
Reasons why Modern Technological advancements in AI and Robotics will not solve all of Africa’s problems
Technology advancements in AI and Robotics are projected to add over $15Trillion Dollars to the global economy by 2030 however Africa will sadly not be able to fully tap in this fortune because the African continent is suffering from Mental Disease that favors corruption, greed, envy, hatred and backwardness. Despite the glowing need for Technological advancements to Boost Healthcare, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Security etc, Africa will not be able to fully tap in this projected $15Trillion Technological economy because of creational diseases that plagues the African Nation.
Cultural, Religious and Ethnical diversities favor underdevelopment in Africa. Furthermore, the continent drive for importation of already used Technologies over Manufacturing of new home grown Technologies further pits the African continent as a dumping ground for foreign countries to ceaselessly exploit.
What Africa needs to do in order to combat rising poverty, hunger, insecurity and build generational prosperity?
Countries in Africa must hurriedly deploy strict Measures backed by strong Legislations to address rising poverty, hunger and insecurity in the African continent. These measures and legislations must be designed and develop in such a manner that it tackles the very structural foundations shouldering underdevelopment, poverty, hunger and insecurity in Africa. This process includes:
-Building Harmony, Love and Generational Prosperity: African countries must deploy measures that promotes unity, bridges divide, and helps all African see themselves as one. In Benue State Nigeria today, before a Benue indigene engages in any form of progressive business activity with any one, he or she will always ask you first: “What part of Benue state are you from” ? your answer on your Location of origination from Benue state determines whether he or she will engage in any form of business whatsoever with you. This is very Bad. This singular act means that wrong persons with less skills and experience are most times favored for highly Technical roles thereby leading to reduced total output and efficiency. Africans and Nigerians must see themselves as one in order for the African continent to progress.
-Death Penalty for Corrupt Leaders and Public Office Holders: Today in Africa, rising poverty, food crisis, insecurity and terrorism has reached a crescendo. Corruption alone costs the African continent over $140 Billion in losses every year. While Africans are very eager to pour PMS (Petrol) on a small thief and burn he/she alive, the bigger thief who has stolen huge $Billions of money meant for Millions of Africans is often celebrated and given new roles to continue in his evil act. This act must come to an end! African countries must enact strong Legislations that Criminalizes theft by Government officials and Public Office holders. By enacting the death penalty for corrupt leaders and public office holders, corruption will be reduced to the barest minimum given the fear of Death if found guilty of corruption and diverting public funds for personal use.
-Manufacturing and use of Homegrown Technologies over Foreign Technologies: The African Continent is highly blessed with innovative Technological Talents, but over dependency on Foreign Technologies today, is resulting in Brain Drain in the African continent. Governments across Africa must come together identify foreign technological tools that captures mass number of Africans and develop African home grown technological replacements for the foreign tools. Example are social media tools developed by Meta such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. In Nigeria today, over 80Million Nigerians are registered and active users of Facebook. Imagine the $Millions of revenue accrued to Facebook every year by Nigerians alone. This singular unchecked tool drives African GDP into the hands of foreign developers in large volumes while opening measures for Data theft, Data Misuse, Hackers and Cyber insecurity. Governments across Africa must come together to develop home grown African tools for wide scale communication, manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, education and digital growth.
