SeedufyTech was created out of the need to showcase African Tech Talents, Inventions and Founders to the outer World.

Mission
Our Mission is to show Africa’s Biggest Tech Inventions, Founders, Stories to World and show Global Tech Inventions/Founders, Stories to Africa. We believe that by doing this, we can help to close the huge technological gap that exists be Africa and many Developed Tech Economics around the World.

Scope
SeedufyTech delivers well researched, accurate, engaging, and impactful content on Global & Africa’s dynamic tech ecosystem. Through thoughtful reporting and accurate storytelling, we aim to inform, inspire, and empower our diverse audience, including tech founders, enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and policymakers.

It sets clear guidelines for maintaining unbiased accuracy, excellence, fairness, and consistency in all editorial outputs. Every team member is expected to adhere to the policy to uphold SeedufyTech’s operational credibility and reputation.

Our Reporters and Contributors must verify facts rigorously to ensure all content is factual, complete, and void of Misleading claims.
Our reporters are cautioned to avoid speculation while Personal Proffesonal Opinions and analysis-based articles are clearly labelled.

Fairness and Balance:
Our Reporters and Contributors consult various sources and seek out rounded information to provide balanced coverage without legitimising harmful or false viewpoints.
Our Reporters and Contributors ensure that articles reflect objective reporting and responsible sourcing.

Plagiarism and Attribution:
SeedufyTech properly credits all sources, quotes, paraphrased ideas, and visuals.
Reporters and Contributors must ensure originality in their work while citing sources appropriately.

Professional Conduct:
Our Reporters and Contributors are Proffesonals Certified in their respective fields of authorship and they must approach all interviews and engagements respectfully, adhering to international journalistic ethics.

Legal Compliance:
SeedufyTech operates in adherence to African, and International Media Laws, ensuring strict compliance across jurisdictions.

African Media Laws:
SeedufyTech adheres to the Access to Information (ATI) Laws: Progressive in 29 countries including South Africa Promotion of Access to Information Act, Nigeria FOI Act, Kenya Access to Information Act, Tanzania ATI Act 2016, Rwanda Law No. 04/2013 etc. These Laws promote transparency when sourcing sensitive materials.

International Media Reporting Laws:
SeedufyTech adheres to the following international Media Reporting Laws.

• Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) Article 19 and International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) Article 19: Protecting freedom to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas through any media, including digital/tech platforms.

• EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2018): Extraterritorial reach. Strict rules on processing personal data, with a “journalistic exemption” (Article 85) allowing flexibility for public interest reporting, but requires balancing with data subject rights.

• EU Digital Services Act (DSA, 2022):  Requires transparency in content moderation, advertising, algorithmic recommender systems, and risk assessments.

Defamation:
SeedufyTech refrains from publishing sensitive statements that could unjustifiably harm reputations. All claims made must be backed by humanly verified evidence inform of external links to pages or documents.

Privacy Protection:
SeedufyTech utmostly safeguards all personal information unless sharing aligns with public interest and adheres to legal requirements. We take pride in our viewers and we will never release viewers personal information for any reason whatsoever.

Copyright and Fair Use:
SeedufyTech uses only authorised or original content, including images and data.

Editorial Independence:
SeedufyTech maintains its editorial independence and integrity by operating separately from the business. Final decisions on editorial comes from within our news department

Separation of Content:
SeedufyTech maintains clear boundaries between editorial, advertorials, and sponsored material.

Conflict of Interest:
Professional affiliations, financial ties, or personal relationships that may influence coverage must be disclosed to an editorial manager.

Where relevant, reporters and contributors will make conflicts of interest known in editorial output.


Reporters and contributors must follow standard journalistic processes when reporting on businesses that fund SeedufyTech’s journalism. Reporters and contributors must strive to maintain professional relationships with sources to avoid any real or perceived appearances of conflict, or influence in their work.

Safeguards:
Sources do not preview entire articles before publication.
Editorial decision-making remains unaffected by advertisers or external stakeholders.

Accuracy and Accountability
Fact-Checking Protocols:
Our reporters, contributors, and editors verify all claims using primary and credible secondary sources.
SeedufyTech cross-checks financial and statistical data with published reports or filings for accuracy and reliability.

Corrections Policy:

Retractions:
SeedufyTech will make a retraction only when significant errors, ethical breaches, or falsehoods have been committed.

Retractions must be approved by head editors and accompanied by public communication to address reasons for retraction and steps taken to prevent future occurrences.

SeedufyTech employs gender-neutral, culturally sensitive, and inclusive language on all our platforms.

SeedufyTech amplifies the voices of African, founders, innovators, leaders and grassroots contributors.

Avoiding Stereotypes:
SeedufyTech exists to light the path into Africa’s Technological future and frames technology stories to focus on innovation, potential, and solutions, rather than reinforcing negative narratives.

Request for Comment:
Fair Opportunity: Subjects of critical or potentially reputationally damaging content are given a fair chance to respond. The standard timeframe for replies is 48 hours, with exceptions for urgent or breaking stories where a minimum of 24 hours may be provided.

Extensions: If the subject requests an extension due to valid reasons (e.g., legal consultation), up to 72 hours may be granted, at the discretion of the editorial team.

Documentation: All requests for comment must be documented, including the time the request was sent and any follow-up attempts.

Transparency in Coverage: If no response is received within the set timeframe, this must be explicitly noted in the published content. For example, “The organisation did not respond to our request for comment by the time of publication.”

Duty of Care for Vulnerable Sources
Identifying Vulnerability:
Reporters and contributors assess sources’ vulnerability based on factors such as age, trauma, legal status, socioeconomic conditions, or societal marginalisation.

Informed Consent:
Reporters and contributors clearly explain the purpose of the interview and how their statements will be used. They must ensure the source understands the potential consequences of publication.

Anonymity and Protection:
Sources should be offered anonymity or pseudonyms when necessary to shield them from harm, stigma, or retaliation.

Trauma-Informed Approach:
Reporters and contributors must approach interviews with empathy and sensitivity, avoiding intrusive or triggering questions. We allow the source to dictate the pace and depth of the discussion.

Follow-Up Support:
After publication, reporters and contributors can maintain an open line for vulnerable sources to address concerns or request further protections.

Minimising Harm:
SeedufyTech avoids sensationalising or exploiting vulnerable sources’ stories for clicks or views. We focus on the broader societal impact of their experiences.

Legal and Ethical Compliance:
SeedufyTech adheres to laws protecting vulnerable individuals, such as privacy regulations and child protection laws.

Training and Awareness:
SeedufyTech provides regular training for contributors on handling vulnerable sources with care and empathy.

AI Use
AI Content:

SeedufyTech strictly adheres to Google’s policy on AI Use for Media and Journalistic purposes as contained here.

SeedufyTech Reporters and contributors can use AI tools only for supplementary journalistic purposes (Brainstorming, Facts checking etc.), not as replacements for original reporting.

Our Articles are produced 80% personal professional well researched write ups and 20% sources with functional external reference links embedded inside articles.

Reporters and contributors must clearly label images or visuals created using generative AI tools.

SeedufyTech Africa Resources (STAR ⭐)

Mission: SeedufyTech Africa Resources (STAR ⭐ Africa), is on a mission to search, identify and showcase Africa’s hidden Technology Founders/Inventors with impressive minimum valuable products MVP.

Purpose: SeedufyTech Africa Resources (STAR ⭐ Africa), seeks to empower African Technology founders and Inventors who are building impressive Tech products in their Backyards with much needed visibility and access to investors/ talent recruiters.

Scope: SeedufyTech Africa Resources (STAR ⭐ Africa), is an Africa wide Talent Hunt program which will debut in Nigeria on the 20th day of June 2026. The flagoff of STAR Nigeria will commence search for impressive Tech Founders and Inventors in Nigeria. Upon identification, the Founders/Inventors will be interviewed by SeedufyTech’s Team of professionals including product capture in Photo and Video formats. Having completed the interview phase, SeedufyTech will commence Talent and Product promotions on SeedufyTech website and all our Social Media Marketing platforms. The goal is to search, identify and showcase Africa’s Tech Brains and their products to the outer world where they can gain International visibility and access potential investors, client’s and international talent recruiters.

STAR ⭐ Africa Policies, Recruiting, Marketing and Editorial Standards

Policies:

-SeedufyTech is only committed to Showcasing African Technology Founders/Inventors who declare intentions to have their Tech products showcased to the outer World. SeedufyTech, will not showcase or market any founder or product without the duly signed consent of the founder/Inventor.

-In a situation where the Tech Product has more than one founder or a team of Inventors, SeedufyTech must gain express approval by way of signature from all the founders and Inventors before showcasing and marketing commences.

Recruiting:

SeedufyTech reserves the right to choose which Tech products qualify for identification & showcasing. This comes as SeedufyTech has an already laid down template that guides product identification, and showcasing.

We are always Looking out for STAR ⭐ Tech founders and Products that fall in the following criteria:

• State of the Art or New Inventions

• Tech products that solves basic African, daily human needs and challenges

• Tech products that adds a new and different spark or dimensions from already existing or similar products

• Tech products that are produced using locally sourced materials

• Tech products that are climate friendly, or produced using durable and renewable materials

• Tech products that serves a wide range of users, communities and regions

• Self Taught Inventors without any formal education in terms of the products they have Invented

• Trained Inventors / Founders who have used their acquired knowledge to develop impressive Tech products

Marketing:

SeedufyTech upon the completion of Talent search and identification with all legal documents signed, will commence Talent & Product Marketing to the outer World on SeedufyTech website and all our Social Media platforms in a means to show the World Africa’s Tech Talents and their Innovative Products.

Editorial Standards:

SeedufyTech STAR ⭐ founder/product publications will be made in form of News Articles that highlights the Founder/Inventor alongsides the Product captured in high quality images and Video formats.

STAR ⭐ Publications will be released on our Website and Social Media platforms a rolling basis and Re-publications will be made on quarterly basis inorder to reach more audience who might have missed the previous publications.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

1. SeedufyTech will only commence STAR ⭐ Talent/Product showcasing upon approval and signing of our Legal document.

2. The Legal document contains the scope and details of STAR ⭐ program alongsides guide lines that must not be breached. This comes As SeedufyTech stands as an agency promoting African Talents and their Products to the outer World.

3. SeedufyTech will not demand for any dividend of percentage whatsoever from revenue generated from Products/Services sold by Founders and Inventors. Founders and Inventors are guaranteed full benefits of their products/services sales.

4. In a case whereby a foreign or local investor wishes to invest in the Talent or his Product, SeedufyTech will serve as intermediary Agency between the Tech Inventor/Founder and the Investor. The aim is to negotiate the best investment deal for the African Tech Star and ensure that his Talent and Product will not be exploited.

5. All interested Investors, and recruiters must reach out to SeedufyTech for Talent/Product investment and recruiting.

6. All Tech STARS must also ensure to notify SeedufyTech organization of any personal investment requests made to them after Talent Identification and Showcasing has commenced by SeedufyTech. Failure to do so can result in contract termination.
