‎Former Palantir Vice President Todd Stiefler joins Terra Industries

‎Terra Industries has announced the addition of Ex-Palantir Vice President Todd Stiefler has joined Africa’s Biggest Defense system manufacturing company Terra Industries as Director of Commercial.

Todd was previously Vice President Enterprise at WHOOP where he led B2B growth across government, defense and corporate wellness, among other categories. Before that, he worked in business development at Palantir, building go-to-market solutions for Apollo and FedStart designed to accelerate growth for Defense Tech and Dual use companies in the U.S.

‎According to Terra Industries: “Todd will lead the Companies Commercial Division bringing Terra’s autonomous security systems to the companies that own and operate critical infrastructure across the Global South”.

‎‎Terra Industries appoints Former SpaceX Director Ben MacWilliams, Vice-President of Strategy

‎‎Terra Industries, a Nigerian defense technology firm building autonomous security solutions for essential infrastructure throughout the Global South, has named Ben MacWilliams as its Vice President of Strategy to support growth into additional markets.

‎MacWilliams arrives from SpaceX, where he held the role of Director of Starlink Market Access and managed entry into all 54 African markets. In that position he introduced Starlink service in more than 20 nations and engaged directly with heads of state, regulators, and cabinet ministers. Earlier, he directed market-access initiatives across the Middle East and Central Eurasia, obtaining the first operating licenses for low-Earth-orbit broadband in both regions.

‎In his new post at Terra Industries he will lead market-entry efforts, licensing approaches, and partnerships with governments as the company scales deployment of its sovereign autonomous systems across Global South countries.

‎Terra Industries Raise $52 Million Seed Funding to Scale Robots, Drones, and Defense Systems Manufacturing

‎Nigerian Defense Systems Manufacturing Startup Terra Industries  announced a new $52 Million Dollar Seed Funding to Scale Sovereign Defense Systems, Robots, UAVs, Drone Manufacturing, and also expand its global operations.

‎Existing Investors 8VC, Nova Global, Silent Ventures, Belief Capital and SV Angel participated, alongsides new Investor Norleo Space Investments and angel investor Grant Gordon.

‎This strategic funding is pivotal for Terra Industries as the Robot, Drone and Defense Manufacturing Company expands it’s operations across Africa and the Global South.

‎Terra Industries says it will be opening its international office in London, expanding Drone, UAV and Defense Systems manufacturing by growing its Engineering Department, Operations and Business Development Teams.
