Applications are now open for the ProSME Project SME Fund, a grant funding initiative designed to support the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Namibia.
The SME Fund aims to strengthen the sustainability, competitiveness, and growth potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Namibia through entrepreneurship support, ecosystem strengthening, strategic partnerships, and enterprise development interventions aligned with national development priorities and inclusive economic growth objectives.
The fund is implemented by the (NIPDB) under the ProSME Project and aims to provide financial support to qualifying MSMEs seeking to expand operations, improve productivity, and strengthen their market position.
Grant Benefits
Successful applicants may receive grants ranging from:
N$50,000 to N$100,000 in non-repayable funding
Support for business growth and expansion
Assistance in improving operational capacity
Opportunities to enhance competitiveness and sustainability
Access to a broader MSME support ecosystem
Who Can Apply?
The fund is open to:
-Registered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Namibia
-Businesses with growth potential
-Enterprises seeking support to scale operations or improve productivity
-Eligible businesses operating within approved sectors under the programme
-Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements outlined by the programme administrators.
Enterprise Category Annual Turnover
-Micro Enterprise Up to N$300,000
-Small Enterprise Up to N$3,000,000
-Medium Enterprise Up to N$10,000,000
