The second edition of the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing officially ends today, August 26, 2026.
The competition witnessed over 2,000 humanoid robots from more than 600 teams across 16 countries competing in the grand Robot event in Beijing China.
Some running robots completed the 100-meter dash faster than Usain Bolt’s human world record, while other units completed endurance feats like a 1,500-meter run.
Competitions ranged from high-agility sports such as soccer, table tennis, kickboxing, and obstacle courses to practical household and factory tasks like washing and hanging laundry.
